Our late spring meant we had a lot of produce at the very end of the school year. Thanks to our new UF employee, Mary Cruz Ruiz, we were able to make good use of it in a number of new recipes.  Our GET students have enjoyed honing their cooking and nutrition skills and being the first to try out some great ways to eat local produce. We will keep working on the recipes with hope that some will appear in school meals in the future! You saw it here first.
