We were able to purchase muscadine grapes for the fourth year in a row! This year’s came from St. John’s Oaks Vineyard in Putnam county.  Muscadine newbies can be confused by the tough skins and large seeds, but once you accustom yourself to these delicious American natives, you will like them as much as the wild turkeys at our school farm do! As we teach our students, it can take up to seven tries before you like something new to your taste buds.

They were a hit with our students, and we were pleased to offer them these healthy, Florida-grown grapes.
